On July 23, 2018 the new federal inspection facilities for international travelers of Terminal A were inaugurated. With an investment of $ 6 million, we continue improving the travel experience of our passengers. The new facilities have 14 stations with the capacity to process 400 passengers per hour and and Global Entry machines to process the travelers subscribed to the service.

Enhancing our gastronomic offer!
We celebrate the opening of a new food establishment at the LMM International Airport. Gustos Café serves 100% Puerto Rican coffee and a variety of foods such as desserts, sandwiches and salads. We will continue working to bring our travelers more and better gastronomic and commercial offers.
New air cargo building
With an investment of $ 7 million, Aerostar is currently building a new warehouse and office complex. Cargo Building is expected to be ready by the end of 2018 with a total of 70,000 square feet. The complex will include space for vehicles and aircraft maintenance, administrative and customer service offices, storage space, parking and ramp area for cargo planes and trucks. The project will create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs.
To maintain a safe Airport that offers a positive experience to our travelers, we have installed a new merchandise checkpoint that will allow us to separate the entrance of products from the entrance of passengers. With a total investment of $250,000, the entrance of merchandise is now faster, safer and more effective for our merchants.
